Dynamic modeling of spinal EMG activity.

In this early presentation to an NSF dynamical systems workshop at the University of Southern California, Edmond Jonckheere's engineering team asked whether surface EMG recorded along the spine could track the progress of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) care. The work applied dynamic modeling to muscle activity during the spontaneous spinal wave seen in NSA sessions, starting a line of engineering research the group carried into peer-reviewed conference papers and journal articles over the following decade.
