15th International Research and Philosophy Symposium
/These proceedings from the 15th International Research and Philosophy Symposium at Sherman College include a Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) case study by Knowles, Knowles, and Wright on a 51-year-old woman with neck, back, and sciatic pain and prior surgical fusions in her neck and mid-back. After 12 months and 90 sessions of low-force NSA care, her cervical curve on x-ray went from 0°, a complete loss of the normal neck curve, to 20.5°, a partial restoration. The authors conclude that low-force, tonal approaches like NSA may help improve the structure of the spine, which stands out in a patient who had already been surgically fused at two levels.
